This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for flexibility in their work schedule and has experience in payroll processing and proficiency with Microsoft software, especially Excel and knowledge of formulas.

Additionally, familiarity with softwares such as Xero would be preferable.

**Job Summary**:
As a **Payroll Administrator**, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment to our staff while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking work-life balance.

**Working Instructions of Payroll Administrator**:
**Pay Rate**:£15p/h
**Location**: Walsall
**Hours**: Part-time, temp, 4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including time and attendance data.
- Calculate and process any special pay adjustments, bonuses, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax and labor laws.
- Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee inquiries.
- Generate payroll reports and analysis as needed.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure employee data is accurate.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.

**Desired Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in payroll administration or a related role is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours (4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday).
- Must be based in Walsall or the surrounding area.
