Grafton Banks Finance are working with a Global Financial Services company with offices in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We are looking for a Payables Processing Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. Working Hybrid 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Reporting into the Head of Accounts Payable and Receivables the main purpose of the job is to support a busy finance team in completing monthly information for multiple group companies. You will need to provide accurate and timely information on monthly basis to a variety of stakeholders within the finance community.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

- Team management & development; including objective setting, performance management and appraisals.
- Manage relevant creditor accounts with an understanding of all credits on the GL system.
- Reduce creditor days and manage write off process.
- Ensure working instructions are completed by the team for each task/process and ensure sufficient cover is in place across the department.
- Make recommendations for process improvements on a continual basis.
- Supervise posting of approved purchase invoices and expenses.
- Check and approve weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Check and provide commentary for creditor balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce a monthly timetable for the processing team.
- Advise system administrators of any issues and help resolve where possible.
- Other ad hoc tasks requested by financial managers.
