**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Coordinate requests from patients, carers and healthcare workforce staffs to book clinical procedures in isolation or in combination with other procedures or out-patient consultations.
- Use knowledge of clinical procedures and booking systems to resolve appointment arrangement conflicts and minimise patient journeys for multiple procedures.
- Communicate politely and effectively enquiries from patients, healthcare staff, carers and others, courteously receiving patients and carers booked for outpatients or imaging services.
- Provide appropriate information and instructions to patients and carers and healthcare staff regarding a range of cardiac physiology clinical procedures.
- Enter relevant clinical and demographic information into clinical database system (Datacam/Solus) or other PC based systems (E.G. Microsoft Access/Excel).

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous NHS Experience. (Desirable)
- System knowledge of EPR. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of medical terminology. (Desirable)
