**The Role**:
We are looking for a well organised and experienced HR Assistant (fixed term) to join our head office.
**Key accountabilities**:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience of working in a HR role to support day to day responsibilities, that will include:
Recruitment
- Advertise vacancies
- Co-ordinate job offers and manage the pre-employment screening process
Absence Management
- Process sickness certification
- Chase up certification
General
- Accurate administration of all HR correspondence e.g. change in terms and conditions, salary increases, maternity/paternity entitlements.
- Data entry and maintenance of all employee information held on the HR system (COINS) ensuring the records meet audit and GDPR requirements.
- Assisting with the administration of the company benefits system (Cycle to work, Childcare vouchers etc.)
- Coordination of the probation process
- Administration of Long Service Award process
- Process employees leaving the company
- Liaise with payroll to process any amendments/starters/leavers
- Assisting with HR reports and ad hoc requests
**Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience in a high volume administration role.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and HR systems
- Flexible/proactive - can do attitude who shows initiative to support others
- Previous experience of extracting and manipulating data would be advantageous
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
