**Job description**:
Through your apprenticeship you will undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship and get exposure to the administrative functions and practices which support the work we do.

You will do this whilst being supported by your manager and our learning provider. The successful applicant will work as a member of the Capability Team (formerly Talent, Learning and Capability) working alongside colleagues dealing with the ISIP Technical Training Qualification, National Apprenticeship programme, Talent, Core Learning and Development and Strategic Workforce planning. The role will be varied and dependent on the demands of the team but will cover the tasks listed below.
- Provide excellent customer service in both written and telephone contact to both our internal and external customers, for multiple business units within the remit of the Capability team.
- Delivery of professional, prompt & efficient performance in line with processes and guidance.
- To understand when queries cannot be answered at first point of contact and be able to accurately refer them to the appropriate business unit in accordance with the service level agreement.
- To be a team player and share best practice and knowledge by participating in continuous improvement and training.
- Other adhoc admin duties.

Depending upon your career aspirations we can offer you either the 'Business Administrator L3' or 'Learning and Development L3’ as the post is suitable for either apprenticeship routes. These Apprenticeships will be run by an external training provider.

**Business Administrator**

The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

**Learning and Development**

The role supports the learning and development (L&D) function to contribute to, and influence, improved performance in the workplace at an individual, team and organisation level. Typically, the role would work alongside colleagues who specialise in Human Resources (i.e. employee relations, reward, recruitment) often supported by an L&D Administrator (more junior role) and report to an L&D Business Partner/Consultant/Manager. L&D Practitioners often work with Subject Matter Experts in different parts of the business.
