Our well established client is looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to uptake responsibility for ensuring that their childrens home meet Ofsted Legislatorial requirements.

This is afull time position and will involve heavy travel between homes which vary in location across East London and Essex.

**Salary**:£50,000 this is negotiable based on Experience.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for the childrens homes under the company umbrella and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation to provide effective leadership and management of the home.
- To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of the registered provider.
- You must have experience of managing care planning practice in children's homes. A wealth of Ofsted experience identifying, assessing, care planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating outcomes. Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children.
- Have the business and management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively.
- A minimum of two years' experience in roles requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
- You will ensure that the Registered Home Manager provides a high standard of consistent care/ service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures. - You will have autonomy in the decisions and management of placements within the Residential provision, and liaise with the Senior Management Team in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.
- To provide effective leadership and management of the home.
- To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of the registered provider.
- To oversee the management of placements within the home and to liaise with managers in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.
- The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
