- Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation.
- Handle telephone enquiries from clients and sources regarding their case.
- Ensure that all evidence is uploaded to the relevant claims portals to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and Winn Group.
- Ensure that all disbursements incurred are proportionate and recovered from the other side by uploading them to the relevant claims portal.
- Maximise the recovery of other Winn Group costs, without compromising the best outcome for the client.
- Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management.
- Deliver a level of Client Care in accordance with SRA regulations.
- Follow the Department procedures and processes along with Company policies at all time.
- Assist other team members in achieving their Key Responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
- Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
**Person Specification**:
- Experience running a caseload of files and dealing with clients
- Basic understanding of risk assessing cases.
- Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment
- Cooperative and flexible approach
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution -focused approach
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- IT literate
- Commitment to own personal development
