**Position**: HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)

**Salary**: £36,000

**Location**: Lancaster (Hybrid)

There is a baby on the way, which is fantastic news However, the team would need some assistance during this period and this is why they are looking for a HR Advisor to join them.

**Your new responsibilities**:
As a HR Advisor, you will be the HR Manager’s right hand and will assist the delivery of a superb HR function. You will provide comprehensive advice on policies, procedures, ER matters, absence management, T&Cs, probations, etc.

You will also manage the HR Assistant, ensuring that they perform to high standards as well as contribute to their personal development.

This will be a very dynamic role in which you will never get bored, because you will not only get exposure to all the standard HR Advisor responsibilities, but to areas such as L&D, Recruitment and Selection as well as different projects and initiatives.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in a similar role (Snr HR Assistant/Coordinator/Advisor)
- Experience in providing advice on policies, procedures, best practice and an up-to-date employment law knowledge
- Experience in dealing with ER cases, welfare meetings, probations, etc.
- Exposure to L&D (beneficial)
- Previous line management experience (beneficial)
- Recruitment life cycle experience
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards it
- Passionate about HR and employee wellbeing
- Great personality and attention to detail
