Role Overview

The Clinical Assistant plays a crucial role within our Risk/Digital team, focusing on the initial assessment and management of self-referred clients through our psychological triage system. This system incorporates the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 psychometric tools to accurately evaluate clients' needs.

This role will report directly to the Lead Risk Clinician, working closely to ensure high standards of clinical care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Review initial triage outputs and assess clients' psychological needs based on PHQ-9 and GAD-7 assessments.
- Determine the necessary action for each case, whether immediate escalation to an internal clinician, allocation to a suitable clinician for treatment, or initiation of a self-care journey under our guidance. This may include speaking with the client.
- Ensure a smooth service journey for clients, customers, and clinicians by facilitating effective communication and coordination.

**Requirements**:

- Clinical experience or a qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychology degree) is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with clients, customers, and clinicians.
- IT literacy, with proficiency in using digital triage systems and office software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position offers flexibility in terms of location, with options for home-based or hybrid work from our Liverpool office. Mind Right provides a supportive and dynamic work environment, emphasising the importance of mental health and well-being.

**Salary**: From £28,000.00 per year
