Beverley, United Kingdom Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Full time. Band 3 Healthcare Assistant, Hull and East Riding Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (EDITT). Permanent.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work alongside colleagues, build a rapport with young people and families whilst remaining focused on the planned interventions.

Hull and East Riding CAMHS Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (EDITT).

The team provides a package of enhanced mealtime support and intensive work with young people and families, usually within their own home, to prevent or reduce hospital admissions.

Alternatively, if a full admission is deemed clinically necessary, home leave and discharge may be facilitated much more quickly by the involvement of the EDIT Team and the more intensive support they can offer in partnership with the inpatient and Eating Disorder Teams.

The main elements of the clinical work will include supporting young people and families during mealtimes in a variety of settings, but mainly in the family home, using an evidence-based model and care pathway.

The service will be provided 8am to 8pm, seven days a week therefore the successful post holders will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

The service covers the large geographical area of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, and also North and North East Lincolnshire so the ability to commute within this area is essential.

For further information please contact Lisa Weldrick, Clinical Team Lead or Dr Anna Doughty, Consultant Clinical Psychologist on 01482 347886
