Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team as a Bank employee, providing support and care to our residents on an ad-hoc basis.
  • This is a great opportunity for those who want to gain experience in a care setting and develop their skills in caring for older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the personal care needs of our residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, helping to maintain their dignity and well-being.
  • To follow care plans and provide support with daily living tasks, such as eating and drinking.

About You

  • You will have previous experience of caring for older adults, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
