Quality & Compliance Administrator

London, United Kingdom Lovell Partnerships Limited Full time

We are looking for an A Level educated Administrator to join the operations team reporting to the Construction Director. The role will be office based with site visits as appropriate.

**Background**

Following the sad events at Grenfell, new legislation has been brought in to ensure that all developments comply with the Building Safety Act 2022. The Building Safety Bill put a legal duty on duty holders and accountable persons to create, obtain, store and share documents and information about their building in a prescribed format. The Golden Thread is the model of gathering, storing and maintaining the key information of a building’s lifecycle and has now become an industry standard.

As a business The Building Safety Act has placed greater responsibility on Contractors/Developers which includes ensuring that we can evidence all works completed on site are in compliance with Building Regulations and the design and specifications. We also must demonstrate the competencies of all involved in the design and construction process plus provide all certification. This role is for someone to work alongside Chris to produce a document control system that allows us to demonstrate compliance with the Building Safety Act.

**The Role**

This role therefore is to ensure Lovell London’s compliance with the obligations of the Building Safety Act, the Fire Safety Act and Golden Thread, which set out the information we need to understand a building and the steps needed to keep the building and its occupants safe.

**Your Experience**

Initially reporting to the Construction Director, you will undertake a wide variety of responsibilities and document control to ensure our understanding and compliance of our obligations under these two Acts.

You will research and investigate IT solutions to evidence for the Golden Thread and put into place the system for the projects to use. Educated to at least A Level or equivalent, your IT skills will be to an advanced level in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

You will need to be pro-active, with an enquiring mind, and self-motivated to produce a plan for the business going forward. A confident and outgoing disposition would serve you well in this role and the ability to work on your own and part of a team are paramount.

Previous research and document management control experience would be a distinct advantage, plus a willingness to learn all about the Acts and to articulate the knowledge and information is vital to ensure Lovell London complies.

At interview you will need to demonstrate your organisational skills, and your verbal and written communication skills, as these are absolutely essential for this role. You will need to possess plenty of initiative, think on your feet and be proactive.

Current CSCS card holder desirable; or you will be required to undertake the test to become a cardholder.

**Benefits**
- Bonus entitlement based on performance KPIs
- Holidays 26 days
- Life Assurance
- Pension 5% matched
- Private medical insurance
- Holiday Purchase Scheme
- Access to discount portal
- Cycle to Work scheme and the Lovell Way to EV
- Access to Digital GP
- Employee assistance programme
- Sharesave scheme
