Working as a member of the Group IT team, you will contribute to the management of all incidents and requests including the initial logging and recovery of these records within the Service Level Agreement and to the satisfaction of the Customer together with administrative duties as required. To deliver a high quality service to our customers in line with the overall aims and objectives of IT Services.
The daily duties of this role will include:
- Logging all relevant incidents or requests from different sources
- Classifying, categorising and prioritising all incoming items
- Accurately recording all details
- Resolving issues where possible or escalating to 3rd line support teams
- Managing a personal queue within the IT ticketing system
- Fulfilling IT service requests
- Setting up new users
- Assisting with deskside support
- Preparing new hardware
- Raising purchase orders for new items
- Completing day to day administration
