**Overview of role**:
Location: Belfast

Annual Salary: £29,390

As a Warehouse/ Despatch Operative you will carry out a range of duties from picking products using a light system, driving a Fork Lift and operating our checkpoint to ensure our daily sales orders are in place to meet all customer requirements on time and in full. You will be working within a great team and will given full training in the role. Working pattern is 3 days week 1 and four days week 2, rotating from 2 weeks on days to 2 weeks on nights 7 to 7.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Demonstrate the ‘Safety First’ approach at all times and being proactive to raise and reduce hazards.
- Follow instructions, training, procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach when moving between the various tasks within the despatch operation, including order picking, decanting, loading, unloading and product control; being open and willing to learn and develop new skills.
- Achieve the performance targets set; measured by the WMS and other supporting systems and measures.
- Drive your personal development and demonstrate a positive can do attitude to your work, reflecting the Company's Values at all times.
- Actively contribute to site standards and ensure a clean as you go approach at all times.
- Build and develop effective relationships

**The Right Person**:
Previous experience in warehousing & distribution environment is desirable.
- External FLT licenses are desirable.
- PC literate.
- Working ability with Warehouse Management Systems.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills and a real team player.
- Good time keeping, organised good communication skills.
- Conscientious and flexible in their approach to work.
- A strong customer and quality focus
