**Full time salary per annum - £23,376.60 - (salary payable is determined on a pro rata basis)**

**No personal care or medication administration is involved in this role**.

Essex Respite & Care Association is a small caring charity providing exceptional mental health support across Essex. We are looking to recruit part time, male or female Mental Health Support Workers in MID Essex.

You will be supporting adults who have a mental health diagnosis to accomplish different activities in the community and within an individuals home, from sport, crafts, shopping to attending medical appointments. You will be working on a one-to-one basis.

This is a personally rewarding position where you will build your experience whilst supporting people within the community to help them achieve their goals. As a charity we offer high-quality face to face training which is delivered twice a year.

As a Mental Health Support worker you will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Provide effective day to day cover that supports the needs of the client.
- Consistently deliver high quality Support, in a changing environment being versatile in your approach.
- Be fully compliant with organisational values and requirements in line with policies and procedures.
- Be willing to travel, our charity is Essex based.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS.
- You must have a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle (Business insurance is essential)
- The right to work within the UK.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.15 per hour
