As our Sourcing & Sales Support Specialist, you will be providing a first-class customer experience dealing with customer enquiries & orders, ensuring all customer enquiries are qualified and managed in line with the pre agreed customer service level agreement.

You will be managing the agreed process flow and communications between RS and the customer, ensuring a speedy response to Inbound customer enquiries, Core RS stocked & Product plus (Non stocked), Inbound Customer Orders, placing supplier purchase orders, back-order management and KPI Reporting.

**What you will be doing**:
You will be looking after the day to day management of customer inbound enquiries, ensuring all enquiries are logged, tracked and speedily responded to within the agreed SLA.

You will ensure all customer orders are acknowledged, all goods are delivered on time and in full. Where orders are delayed, you will make sure customers are aware and alternative solutions proposed.

Place supplier purchase orders for none core products and ensure order acknowledgements are provided and manage suppliers to ensure orders will be delivered on time.

- Customer focussed wanting to provide a first-class customer experience demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
- Able to confidently communicate with customers and suppliers both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining and delivering an exceptional hight level service to the customer.
- Capable of negotiating and extracting the best cost and delivery from suppliers demonstrating commercial awareness.
- Detailed and task focused with the ability to multi-task whilst keeping track of agreed SLA deadlines.
- Exceptional product knowledge covering MRO & Electrical.
- Competent user of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
