**A quick look at the role**

The health and wellbeing of our Biffa colleagues has never been more important. As our** Head of Health and Wellbeing **you will lead the development of strategies and initiatives to support our colleagues with their health and wellbeing, both inside and outside of work. Your passion for Health and Wellbeing will help ensure that our colleagues are motivated and quick to engage with our varied initiatives.

**Your core responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the Group Health & Wellbeing Strategy, aligned to Biffa’s People Strategy
- Further develop a culture that focuses on health and wellbeing, recognising the importance this has on both employee experience and business performance
- Manage Biffa’s partnership with our occupational health provider ensuring they adhere to KPI’s and SLA’s, particularly in relation to the business health surveillance programs and health and safety preventative programs
- Provide expert advice across the Biffa Group in all elements of Health & Wellbeing and ensure that opportunities for improvement are acted upon
- Manage the collation of Wellbeing, HR and Business data, providing insights and using these to influence business decisions and inform wellbeing initiatives
- Develop and deliver health and wellbeing training and education sessions for employees, raising the profile of health and wellbeing, and ensuring a wide reach
- Work with our broader HR team to deliver campaigns and initiatives that help our colleagues to focus on their own health and wellbeing


**Our essential requirements**
- Experience and proven success of leading health and wellbeing within a multi-site organisation
- Experience and proven success of developing and implementing strategic business wellbeing initiatives
- A Degree or equivalent qualification relating to Health and Wellbeing or Occupational Health qualification
- Experience of delivering occupational health advice in a corporate environment
