**Risk Specialist - Ventures - Warwick (with hybrid working)/ UK wide considered**

As our Risk Specialist/Analyst, you’ll have accountability for New Interconnectors risk management process, ensure risks are identified, managed, mitigated, workshops/reviews are conducted regularly, ensure alignment with the Chief Risk Office and Safety, Health, Environmental, Risk Assurance & Resilience teams. This is an opportunity for you to drive cultural change, embed a new efficient and dynamic risk approach cutting across New Interconnectors business.

**What you'll be getting up to**:

- Lead and develop a risk management framework to identify and manage New Interconnectors risks underpinning our business objectives.
- Conduct risk workshops/ reviews, define and analyse risks, perform risk assessments by considering risk consequences.
- Develop risk management controls and risk mitigations and follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop risk reporting models in a timely manner, support reporting requirements for Interconnectors, NGV and NG.
- Ensure Principal risks are actively managed to remain within Group risk appetite
- Support all stakeholders through the risk implementation journey ensuring they adhere to the risk strategy

**About You**:

- Proven experience as in risk management
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control
- Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is a plus
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Cross functional stakeholder management
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools - PowerPoint, Word, Excel
