We, Cornerstone Training and Support Ltd provide mainstream and VR enabled training to predominantly the statutory sector. We use VR technology to promote insight and understanding of the impact that neglect, and trauma can have, and the vulnerabilities of teenage years, offering strategies that can promote increased empathy and positive change. **What does a VR Operations officer do?**

This role fundamentally supports the team with all aspects of kit and content management, customer service and technical support.

You will be responsible for asset tracking and co-ordinating with our customers, where our kit should be and who should be using it.

Part of this role will involve providing both remote and in person technical support, meeting end users and assisting them to have a smooth and impactful virtual reality experience.

Working with a small supportive team you need to be prepared to do any job no matter how big or small including administrative tasks. There will be an opportunity to be involved in further 360 content development.

Ideally you would have some VR and video editing experience, but this is not essential. Curiosity and a logical mind is crucial for this role.

The role is hybrid, based in a Birmingham City Centre office, and does involve UK wide travel and occasional overnight stays.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversite of all VR related equipment & content including:

- Maintain online equipment calendar and forecast when new equipment will be required to ensure we have enough stock to fulfil commitments
- Prepare all equipment for events & customers and that all equipment sent out is charged & maintained.
- Manage and maintain the content library on an online platform
- Liaise with tech production teams to ensure platform is maintained
- Deliver tech sessions to introduce the VR headset to customers
- Act as the point of contact for any technical issues and technical support to customers, and any others who need it
- Provide admin support when required.
- Create/edit Video/Audio for podcasts/webinars/events demos
- This is not an exhaustive list and you will be expected to carry out additional demands to help the team meets it goals

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and the ability to explain technology to a non-technical audience.
- Logical and organised.
- Willingness to learn about new technology.
- Empathetic and sensitive manner when dealing with emotional VR content.
- Interest in tech
- Desirable to have sound and video editing insight and skills for webinars, podcasts and short videos
