Hours: 22-24 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to assist in the management of the finances for our outstanding and much loved charity.

The finance team are well respected and work efficiently to a series of deadlines which requires a high level of commitment to the role, the team and the wider charity.

As the Finance Officer in the team, you will support the Finance Manager to:

- Ensure all ledgers, in particular the Purchase Ledger are efficiently managed and fully reconciled
- Support month end and year end processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Be a first point of contact for general finance queries
- Demonstrate a commitment to the wider charity objectives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys finance and working in a lively, fast paced environment. You will need to have enthusiasm, demonstrate financial acumen, be a team player, target focussed, and understand and be committed to the charity and its aims; putting the patient and their needs at the heart of everything we do. A good understanding and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential. It would be desirable to have experience of a range of financial management systems, including Sage.
