**Head of Warehousing and Contract Logistics**

**THE ROLE**:
Join us as our **Head of Warehousing and Contract Logistics **within our UK wide Team

You will work as part of a high performing and well-established Senior Management team working with existing and new large-scale well-known customer brands across growth and innovation opportunities.

Based at our cutting-edge Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire

**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**

Taking full ownership and accountability of our warehouse operations UK wide

Execution of contractual requirements within budgetary limits at agreed service levels.

To deliver innovation through process improvement, cost reduction and effective use of technology.

Deliver a highly motivated, positive, supportive, and energetic team.

Grow existing client base along with collaboration with the business development team to secure new business driving forward our growth agenda.

Assisting in driving forward our sustainability agenda to enable successful achievement of targets within set timescales through energy conservation, removing waste and increasing recycling.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL**:
Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and/or remotely. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have:

- Proven experience in fast paced warehousing operations.
- Experience in budgetary responsibility.
- Senior leadership qualities and experience
- Previous FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) and ecommerce experience.
- Cross dock experience
- SHEQ experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
- Have strong influencing and negotiation skills.
