The _Compliance Manager_ will be responsible for supporting the Chief Compliance Officer, the Directors, and the Executive Leadership Team in the effective management of Compliance across the organisation. This role will work closely with other membersof the team, those within the CFO Directorate and across the organisation.
This position is diverse and busy, you will be responsible for ensuring that Compliance is embedded across the organisation and within the broader culture. There will be a need for the role holder to work closely with others within the team (risk, assurance& audit).
**It is essential for the Compliance Manager to demonstrate the following skills and experience**:
- Ability to analyse complex data, draw conclusions, produce reports, and make recommendations to management in relation to delivery
- Good level of abstract thinking skills and ability to take the 'bigpicture’ view and identify linkages and dependencies between activities
- High level of PC literacy with good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Stakeholder management: excellent influencing and negotiation skills, able to challenge constructively to drive positive change
- Extensive experience of operating independently and collaboratively with peers
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative networking skills
- Experience and working knowledge of the Three Lines of defence model
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Previous experience in presenting reports to senior management
