Purchase/sales Ledger Assistant

Mytum & Selby are a family owned Waste Recycling company based in Sherburn in Elmet, and we require a forward thinking and self-motivated
Sales / Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at our Head Office.
Duties will include:
- Dealing with Card payments
- Ensuring all debts are prioritised, managed and communicated
- Be able to prioritise own workload and deal with queries in a timely manner
- Sales Invoice generation and posting receipts
- Checking and sending statements
- Daily input of tickets, weights and waste types on invoices and spread sheets
- Dealing with customers
- Answering the telephone
- Filing
- Working on sage accounts
- Dealing with customer potals
- Organising bin round
- Daily imputing/populating excel spread sheets
Requirments
- A good telephone manner
- Enjoy learning new skills
- A strong passion for working within accounts and finance
- We would prefer experience of SAGE and Microsoft Excel.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
