SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant for one of their prestigious clients based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, on a full time permanent basis. You will be joining a friendly and personable team.
**Purpose of the Role**:
Purchase ledger functions and Payroll backup
**Responsibilities of Purchase Ledger Assistant**:
- To assist in accounts administration and ensure deadlines are met.
- AOE payments / pension payments.
- Cash flow monthly forecast.
- Credit card receipt breakdown / coding.
- Daily cash book posting.
- Purchase Ledger administration.
- Assist with purchase ledger invoice queries.
- To carry out regular reconciliations - supplier statements, direct hours, cash books, nominal, etc
- Monthly control account reconciliation.
- Supplier BACS payments.
- Collation of non-conformance records, updating supplier master records and marrying to credit notes where necessary.
- Updating and maintaining supplier parts database re current prices and discounts.
- Aged creditors and housekeeping.
- Ensure debit balances are investigated and resolved monthly.
- R&D claim preparation.
- Assistance with annual accounts audit.
- Accounts archive maintenance.
- To provide backup to Payroll.
- Carry out general clerical and other duties as delegated by Central Services Manager / Central Services Director
**Typical working hours**: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 16:00 Friday
