An exciting opportunity has arisen with Boston CORE CAMHS Team We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our fast paced multi disciplinary CORE team in Boston.

As Assistant Practitioner you will assist in supporting young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties through 1:1 or group work.

The role is a full time(9-5 Monday-Friday) 37.5 hours (part time hours/job share can be considered).

You will work as part of a well-established highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, you must be a compassionate, organised, team player with excellent communication skills and effective time management skills. Your enthusiasm and motivation are just as important as your experience as full training can be provided for a successful applicant. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision and there are opportunities to access development/training.

You will be able to travel independently and may be required to travel to Spalding/Skegness area as part of your role.

Under the supervision of a Band 6 Registered Professional, support the provision of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary community mental health service for children and young people, including those in vulnerable groups, though he provision of pre-CAMHS support to universal service and targeted interventions using evidence based pathways reflective of a CYP-AIPT approach to care.

Under the supervision of a Registered Professional, hold and manage a delegated caseload (low to moderate complexity).
- Acting as an advocate, support service users and their families/carers through their plan of care both physically and psychologically to achieve expected outcomes.
- Co-facilitate groups.
- Monitor and report back the service user’s progress against planned objectives
- Implement planned care, psycho-education which encourages and empowers Service

Users and their family/carers.
- Contribute to case conferences and reviews, supporting service users and carers to engage with services and contribute to their care. - Undertake reviews of care with service users, carers and team members.
