We are now recruiting for an Administration Coordinator to join a lovely warm and welcoming school in Harpenden.

You will be a highly organised coordinator who is proactive, agile and flexible. You will be working closely with the Bursar and the Deputy Head to support and coordinate whole school operations so you will need to be confident in building strong relationships with people at all levels.

This role is perfect for someone who wants a varied role where no two days are ever the same and one in which you will be playing an active role in the life of the school community.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the Bursar in day-to-day School operational requirements and identify key problems
- Support the Deputy Head in Academic day to day routine including; regular meetings, support the planning of academic timetable, react as required to last minute changes to the support requirements, support of School activities as required and proactively identify conflicts
- Coordinate departments through regular operational meetings
- Support the service managers in ensuring that all the manpower and resources of the catering, cleaning and estates departments are used as one efficient team
- Liaise with the Heads of academic departments in support of their resource needs
- Exercise strong planning and support budget control
- Work with the Bursar to forecast and plan maintenance for the schools and its facilities, staffing and individual projects
- Maintain essential services through establishing cost-effective procurement, maximum efficiency, and value for money
- Assist the in the management of major works and projects to ensure that project timelines are met and client response is monitored
- Utilise Microsoft Project Planner to create a cohesive forecast of works and future projects
- Coordinate Holiday Club activities, transport requirements across the school and school lettings
- Coordinate all school purchases using established supply chains and contracts
- Support the Finance department in ensuring invoices are processed
- Assist the Bursar with planning and costing of future refurbishments and building works
- Working with the Head of Catering, support the delivery of a first-class service for pupils, staff and events
- Working with the Head of Marketing and Admissions and Events to ensure that the resources required for school events are coordinated
