The post holder would be part of the South Sector Facilities Department Senior Management Team, working within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The post holder will provide high quality clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the Head and Assistant Head of FM Operations and general support to the Facilities Management Team. This involves (but is not limited to) managing correspondence, word processing, incoming/outgoing mail, creating & maintaining database systems, filing, photocopying, minute taking, diary management, etc. The post holder is responsible for scheduling appointments and meetings and for making necessary arrangements to ensure the effective management of the Head and Assistant Head of FM Operations. This includes using their own initiative to filter and select and re-arrange suchlike as appropriate. The post is Monday to Friday, with a variable start time between 8am and 9am.
