**Specific job role**

We are looking for live-in carers for a lovely lady who has suffered a spinal cord injury and who lives on her own in a lovely adapted house in Aylesbury. She has 2 live-in carers working with her at the same time so there is lots of support and assistance. Carers will need to be able to drive the client to and from gym trips and appointments.

**Live-in Care Job Overview**

The Carer (sometimes called a PA) will assist the client with care, daily living and moving and handling needs. The specific duties will be outlined in the Client's care plan and daily activities on our electronic visit system and will include assistance with washing and dressing (personal care), spinal injury toileting, mobility support (moving and handling), preparing fresh nutritious meal and more. Full training and support to deliver the care required will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Observe and record client's health status.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of the client.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Notify clients of changes in medications.
- Arrange for transportation for appointments for the client.
