**Role Purpose**

The overall purpose of the Caretaker role is to ensure the club is maintained to a high standard in all areas. This is a key role to ensure our clubs are always shown in their 'best light' to all visitors. From our entrances, through to our pitches and our clubhouses, our Caretakes ensure everything is in working order and looks the part, whilst always maintaining the safety of our customers. The caretaker will have key holder responsibility and be accountable for stock and club safety in the absence of the Club Manager.

This Role is also a small cluster support for our sister club in Wigan. Small projects will need support from the Trafford team to support. Millage, materials and equipment is taken into account when projects are in place.

**Key Responsibilities Operations**
- Maintain the pitches, including redistribution of rubber crumb, white lining, brushing and netting. Manage all internal areas of the club ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Work to a Maintenance Schedule to ensure the above standards are met on a regular basis.
- Complete general maintenance tasks as deemed appropriate by the Club Manager.
- Ensure all vending machines are kept fully stocked, operational and well presented.
- Ensure the club is compliant with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Complete risk assessments and pitch check sheets.
- Carry out weekly fire tests.
- Carry out weekly Legionella controls-weekly temp checks and flushing in showers and toilets areas.
- Ensure all stock deliveries are recorded and stringently checked before accepting.
- Ensure stock is neatly stored away and rotated to avoid stock reaching sell by date.
- Ensure a weekly lighting audit is carried out.
- Identify and report to the management team, any areas of the club that require maintenance and advise where appropriate, action required.

**Finance**
- Control expenditure and work to a budget when repairing or replacing equipment.
- Ensure the club is secure at all times and that vending machines are secure.
- Source cost effective ways to repair issues.
