**The Role:**
- To ensure that all such contact is conducted in a polite, courteous and professional manner in keeping with principles and policies.
- To treat customers fairly and to find solutions that are in the best interests of both parties.
- To demonstrate empathy and understanding when customers are concerned or unhappy; ensuring the customer is at the heart of all actions taken.
- To recognize a vulnerable customer and gain the most appropriate result for the customer.
- To handle customer complaints by investigating and responding in compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- To ensure all activities are diarised for action or follow up, and to ensure these are then performed at the appropriate time.
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines.
- To effectively contribute to meetings or staff forums as and when required.
- In keeping with values, to assist in other work when other staff are absent or busy, as instructed by line management.
- To attend training sessions to further develop knowledge and skills when appropriate.
- To comply with all regulatory compliance and standards that Company undertake & adhere to on a day to day basis.
