Cheltenham, United Kingdom National Star Full time

Are you an experienced administrator who thrives on ensuring processes are effective and efficient?

Do you have experience of managing a team and working collaboratively to deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders?

National Star is a well-respected disability charity supporting young people with disabilities to realise their potential as equal and active citizens in control of their lives. This sits at the heart of everything we do, from the personalised and world-class learning we provide via National Star College to our long-term living offer and work in the wider community.

With more than 1,200 employees, National Star’s HR team plays a key role in the smooth running of the charity, which has ambitious plans for growth in the coming years.

We’re looking for a experienced Administrator to lead our team of HR Administrators and to take a proactive and hands-on role in all areas of administrative HR throughout the employment lifecycle. You will be required to ensure we follow processes relating to onboarding, engagement, pay and contractual changes. You will also support the wider team with more strategic activities such as data gathering, analysis and process improvement.

You’ll be someone with experience of managing / supervising a small team and ideally with a good understanding of employment processes and legislation through either an HR role or within your responsibilities as a supervisor. Previous experience gained within education or a health and social care setting would be an advantage but not essential.

This role will be based at our main site in Ullenwood - we have a free staff minibus from Cheltenham and Gloucester or plenty of free parking on site.

**How to apply**

Please note that all applicants will be expected to undertake a DBS Disclosure, and undergo the necessary employer checks. The level of disclosure to be applied for will be dependent on your job role and will be discussed with you during the recruitment process but is usually an enhanced level.
