**About the job**:
We are looking for a Legal Officer to join our in-house Legal Team. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive and have directly relevant experience enabling you to manage an appropriate caseload, with supervision where required, in at least two of the following areas of law; Regulatory, Licensing, Planning, Property, Contracts & Procurement, and litigation.

You will have a desire to develop a career in local government and the drive to expand your areas of practice, quickly becoming a trusted and valued adviser, at the centre of everything the Council does to drive improvements and service delivery for the people it serves
