**The Role**

**_Gibbs & Dandy - Customer Development Advisor Hybrid role_**

**_Based: Flexible between home and the office. This role will be supporting branches in our North region, so your local office will be Gibbs & Dandy Huddersfield._**

**_Salary: £21,000 - 24,000 - depending on experience_**

**_Hours: up to 35 hours (full time), however we are very open to flexibility/part time hours (Salary will be pro rata based on confirmed hours)_**

As a Customer Development Advisor, you'll be the face (or more accurately, the voice) of our business, often the first contact a new customer has with us. You'll spend most of your day chatting to our customers, new and existing, to build relationships,offer support and understand their needs.

Working alongside our branches and central teams, you'll also have the opportunity to proactively get in touch with our customer base to make them aware of ongoing campaigns, update information and support with any issues to make sure our customers get thebest service every time

You'll join the Gibbs & Dandy Customer Development Team, part of our Colleague & Customer Experience Department. It's an exciting time for this friendly team of 4, who work hard to support our customers every day. The team have an office in Luton, howeveras they support our entire branch network, there is flexibility in our day to day location.

**Requirements**:
**So, what are we looking for?**
- Experience of working in a proactive internal sales role
- A passion for customers, sales and business development
- Experience of cross selling, up-selling and telephone-based account management
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to listen and interact confidently with customers
- Customer focussed approach, with an understanding and aptitude for being proactive rather than reactive
