We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our industry renowned Customer Service Team as a full time Customer Service Advisor based at our Huddersfield site.


This is a varied role for an individual with excellent communication skills and who has a reasonable level of technical knowledge and understanding of control and distribution products.


As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be preparing quotes and invoices, capture and process data, handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and work closely with colleagues and suppliers to obtain the best outcome for our customers.


The role of a Customer Service Advisor is ultimately about influencing customers while building long term relationships and is pivotal in providing the high-level service we are known for.


What your day-to-day activities will look like:

  • Prepare quotes as per the customer's requirement
  • Work with suppliers to obtain prices, discounts, and delivery details
  • Prepare proforma invoices for nonaccount holders
  • Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to obtain the best outcome for our customers
  • Resolve problems in a professional manner
  • Update and record customer information on our system accurately

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can adapt to a changing environment
  • Able to confidently work to tight deadlines
  • Have computer skills (Microsoft Applications)
  • Be proud of your work with a highlevel of attention to detail
  • Experience within the industry would be an advantage but is not a necessity as full training is provided
