**Website Development**
- Develop new WordPress websites in line with project plans and design briefs based on our client requirements and in-house standards.
- Make ad hoc updates to existing websites as requested by customers.
- Set up new WordPress Installations and install and configure themes and plugins.
- Update DNS records and website hosting to bring websites online or offline.

**Website Maintenance**:

- Run WordPress CMS, theme, and plugin updates to ensure the optimal performance and security of the websites.
- Carry out website health check audits and identify and fix bugs/issues affecting the performance of the site.

**SEO Implementation**:

- Ensure that all websites built and maintained are optimised for search engines.
- Run SEO audits, install SEO-friendly plugins and make on-page updates to improve the websites search visibility.

**Digital Marketing**:
**Client Consultation**:

- Attend customer briefings to understand client needs, objectives, and website aspirations.
- Stay connected with clients to collect content needed and gauge feedback on projects and updates.
- Offer regular updates and reports to clients on their websites and health checks.

**Stay Abreast of Website Development and WordPress Trends**:

- Remain updated with emerging website development and WordPress best practices.
- Complete ongoing relevant training and certifications related to the job role.

**Experience and skills required**:

- A minimum of 1 year experience in WordPress website development.
- Familiarity with some of the popular themes and page builders such as Avada, Elementor and WP Bakery.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially WooCommerce.
- Previous experience with website migrations and hosting platforms.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Familiarity with technical SEO
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to delivering quality results on time.
- A self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team with a can-do attitude.
