Department Specialist - Oxford

The Department Specialist supports senior store leaders in driving & executing store operations that enables and drives sales growth. They support in leading & driving front & back of house operational functions; H&S, Delivery & Merchandise Flow, Loss Prevention, Maintenance & Cash Handling. They are responsible for developing plans/training associates to support & execute operational activities consistently.

Generalist/Non-Generalist:
Store volume will dictate if your role is more generalist or non-generalist therefore more specialised in certain operations of the store.

Key responsibilities
- Supports, executed & trains associates on all H&S initiatives including but not limited to; Training, Risk Assessments, Floor walks & Checks
- Leads delivery teams ensuring product availability is flawless and delivered in a timely manner
- Actively participates & leads stock activities such as PSS, Markdowns, Stockfile Adjustments, Stocktakes & Parcels are delivered to a high standard & are consistent
- Supports store SLT with all cash handling activities such as Expenses, Overs & Unders are maintained and investigated in a timely manner
- Supports & trains associates on Loss Prevention initiatives ensuring there is strong understanding of factors to shrink at all levels
- Supports with logging & follow up any maintenance work that is needed to ensure the store is kept to a high standard
- Supports senior leaders to ensure the store is audit compliant at all times through participating in Mastercheck & Check mate inspections
- Supports overall store by demonstrating & training all brand and store initiatives
