**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- The futures co-ordinator will be responsible for:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure students understand the various options available to them for post-18, advising them on routes and careers.
- Support the Heads of Year in the delivery and development of the Pathways Programme.
- Develop opportunities for students and parents to access advice from various sources, including outside speakers, websites, other professionals.
- Maximize the use of pathways resources, including staff and student use of Unifrog.

- Be enthusiastic about learning and supporting students to develop academic interests and future pathways.
- Be able to lead colleagues and students in a personable and engaging way that fosters effort.
- Have attention to detail and be able to manage deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Be interested in using technology creatively to enhance learning.
- The ability to assimilate and use information quickly and effectively, communicating relevant aspects to students, parents and colleagues.
- Be willing and able to solve problems and maintain positivity.

- QTS required.
- Degree-level qualification minimum
- Experience of pastoral and curriculum success
- Track record of delivering excellent outcomes

- Interest in the university process, post-18 options
