Overview:
GB Railfreight currently seek a Rail Operator based in Tonbridge. Working a shift based roster on a nominal 39 hours per week, a Rail Operator will receive a basic salary of £37,330 per annum plus staff benefits. We are looking for a safety focused and dynamic individual to join our team and support GBRf in our commitment to deliver a safe, reliable and best in class service to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:
Qualifications:

- Previous operational/Ground staff/shunting experience within the Freight industry would be desirable.
- Experience in a safety critical role would be desirable.
- Experience gained in a Customer facing environment would be advantageous.
- Able to multi-task and make quick decisions for short notice changes to train plans.
- Ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
- Excellent and clear communication skills to relay important safety messages to your colleagues.
- Safety conscious and ability to remain calm in an event of an emergency situation.

A clean full UK driving licence is essential.

You will receive a salary of £37,330 per annum. If you do not have the experience required, a training salary of £21,200 is on offer until you pass out as fully competent in the role. (Approximately 9 - 12 weeks)
