**Job Purpose: Clinical/Counselling Psychologist**

**Salary**:£55,000 per annum + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

**Location**:Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

**Contract**:Full-time | 37.5 Hours

The post holder will work as part of the Senior Management Team of the service providing outstanding knowledge of models, methods, law and policies in psychology.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- To support the provision of psychology services in a specified area, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and under the direction and supervision of a Senior/Principal/Consultant or Lead Psychologist.
- Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and ensure that the patient is fully engaged in their care pathway.
- To support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes.
- To support the clinical team and area of service in developing new initiatives and ways of working.
- To work with internal and external agencies in order to enhance treatment pathways for patients.
- To develop and manage groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches. To ensure that appropriate outcome measures are in place.
- To take a key role in Psychology service developments, providing an evidence-based approach to new clinical initiatives.

**Essential**
- HCPC Registration (or evidence of working towards)
- Substantial experience working with Adults
- Previous experience working within a Neurological setting
