**Employment Trainer (Progressions)**

Trigon Recruitment are exclusively recruiting for a Employment Trainer with a well established and expanding independent Charity in the London area. The provider is an exciting, innovative organisation with a unique delivery and business model, it deliversmultiple contracts across adult education and employability within a range of vocational areas. This is a fixed term role which offers a competitive salary for the right applicant. The role will be focused around securing employment, education and trainingopportunities for participants and supporting them to progress.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop materials and training courses designed to progress customers into employment.
- Establish and deliver both group and one-to-one activities as part of client interventions including initial assessments and inductions with clients.
- Deliver a wide range of training courses in groups and one to one intervention’s including but not exclusively: basic IT, effective job search, job clubs, confidence and motivation, telephone techniques, transferable skills, hidden job market, barriersto employment.
- Seek ways to continuously improve service and own performance and report to Manager on this.
- Carry out associated Administration work including report writing, updating internal systems, collecting and analysing management information, evaluating service delivery and audit and review of records.
- Actively seek to network with external organisations such as colleges, job centres, careers centres, employers, community groups and other relevant organisations to source and secure employment, education and/or training opportunities

**About You**:

- Experience of working with long-term unemployed customers.
- A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport with customers.
- A flexible approach to location and courses delivered.
- Access to a car and clean driving license is desirable.
- Experience of working with NEET’s/users with complex barriers and needs.

**Requirements**:

- PGCE qualification or equivalent experience.
- Assessors qualification is desirable.
- Recent experience of delivering training to customers with a wide range of needs and barriers, preferably in 16-25 age group.
- Capability to deliver a wide range of training solutions for all participants.
- Can effectively Communicate and build networks.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Well-developed IT skills.
- Experience of 1-1 and group delivery is essential, as is a knowledge of current benefits system and signposting organisations.
