**Weekly Hours**:28hrs - 4days **(onsite and home visits)**

**Annual Salary**:£24,000 - £26,000 Pro-rata, 5% Pension

**Purpose of the Role**:
To improve inclusion of people with sight loss in the labour market.

**Objectives of the role**:

- To encourage the development and mindset of ‘I Can,’ building self-esteem and confidence amongst the working age members of Croydon Vision (CV).
- To develop engaging and inspiring events physically (Bricks) and virtually (Clicks) in line with CV’s strategic goals.
- To drive members’ development helping them to become more independent inside/outside their homes, and to subsequently support their journey into education, volunteering, or employment.
- To drive membership for this specific cohort and the organisation as a whole.
- To provide timely and relevant data analysis for monitoring and evaluation and support the Project Manager to translate insights into action.

- **Rebuilding**: To work with the cohort to build self-esteem, self-belief, independence, and confidence, joining our vibrant community.
- **Redirecting**: Creating personal plans and looking at career or educational pathways
- **Upskilling**: Conducting skill assessments, ensuring members have the skills they need to pursue their chosen career, referring them to relevant courses and training.
- **From Survival to Thriving**: To support members to drive their development, helping them to become more independent inside/outside their homes, and to subsequently support their journey into education, work, or volunteering.
- To develop a forum for working age members and foster peer support, ensuring members are aware of local job fairs and employment events.
- To support members who are in employment to retain their work, having the right tools and equipments to continue working.
- To work with members keen on improving their work life, to move into leadership, management or simply wanting add greater value in their workplace.

**Impact & Partnership**
- To enable members to understand their own journey of growth and measuring goals.
- To undertake regular monitoring of members’ progress, using the 5-step approach and CVs CRM system, working together with the Project Manager.
- To assist with the establishment and maintenance of links and networking arrangements with other agencies (e.g., Job Centre Plus, Moorfields, local voluntary organisations as well as other sight loss organisations).
