**DEPUTY PLAY LEADER **needed for a fun after school setting, to **start ASAP.**

Working hours are **Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday** each week, **term time only** between **2.55pm and 6.10pm** at a Play setting based in a school in **Brislington** (13-17 hours per week).

Some **optional overtime is** **available** on Friday after school and optional overtime is available with holiday clubs over some school holidays too.

**Starting pay rate will be £12 per hour.**

DBS will be required and can be arranged if not already on the **DBS update service.** Experience working with children is necessary and you will need to have a **Level 2 childcare qualification or training in the core skills.**

You must speak, read, write and understand English as part of an Ofsted requirement.

An **understanding of Ofsted and the EYFS **is a must.

An understanding of Play Work is a bonus.

You'll need to be **reliable, confident, enjoy working with groups of children, show initiative and have a positive can-do attitude.**

You'll need to make sure that the **children are kept safe, they play well** and provide them with a snack. Additionally you will **support the Play Leader** in running the setting and stand in for them when needed.
