WS11 £25-28K Temp to perm Job Purpose: Dual role covering two functions: Logistics coordinator - The main purpose of the role is to manage Ibstock Telling’s logistics and despatch processes ensuring that production completion and despatches are completed to the highest standard and is stringently following legal guidelines and compliance.
HR coordinator - Responsible for day to day management of HR processes but also play a key part in driving the people planning process, with particular focus on organisation change, talent management & employee engagement
Business support: Working closely with planning and production teams to ensure a seamless dispatch scheduled is maintained
Sequencing of packing of completed panels based on customer requirements/elevation drawings to ensure we reach final destinations on time Supporting the wider business with any transport requests (including samples despatches)
Ensuring haulage partners are maintaining the highest H&S standards
Working with Production Manager to deal with customer returns/quality issues Focus on opportunities to improve, innovate and be more efficient
Polish translation support as required
People management
No direct reports however, key team player in the organisation
Essential:
Well organised with the ability to plan own workload in an efficient manner
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with ability to solve complex and non -standard issues with innovative solutions and creative thinking
Good understanding of in-country employment legislation
Desirable: Logistics Experience of working in a project environment desirable
Prior logistics experience CIPS/MCIPS qualified would be highly advantageous
Scale & Scope Despatch scheduling of all projects and production process HR requirement for all employees directly employed in the organisation (including subcontractors)
