**About the role **
The core purpose of this job function is to be responsible for the co-ordination of the Warranty process and field support team to ensure contractually compliant warranty processing is maintained.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Check, verify, review and process warranty claims in line with business metrics.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Preparation of reports regarding warranty claims, productivity and cost.
- Co-ordinate the workflow for Customer Support field team members.
- Control the issue and backloading of all warranty issued parts.
- Interface daily with internal stakeholder departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of warrant claims.
- Provide technical guidance and process advice to customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry guidelines are adhered to.
- Maintain warranty claim work order preparation, progress and completion.
- Assist with any general clerical duties as directed by the line manager.
**What we’re looking for **
You should have a grade A-C in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent, and hold an engineering or technical qualification. Having a C&G Heavy Vehicle Repair Level 3 qualification or equivalent is advantageous. You should also have experience of using data systems, with the ability to learn and adapt systems to assist in continuous improvement. The job requires excellent IT skills, particularly with Excel and also experience of assessment of work order paperwork in order to ensure full compliance. Experience in a HGV, Automotive service, warranty environment, logistic and quality management experience and exposure to material ordering is advantageous.
