**Description**:
**Role purpose**:
The Digital Channels & Products (DC&P) organisation is primarily focused on designing and delivering high quality channels and products solutions. A key part of the Digital C&P delivery strategy is the transformation to Agile ways of working based upon the SAFe framework.
The CoE Agile Coach is a key role within the Digital C&P Agile Centre of Excellence (CoE). In the role, the CoE Agile Coach will work with the Agile Transformation Lead and other Agile Coaches within Digital C&P to train and coach delivery teams in agile ways of working.

**The CoE Agile Coach will typically**:

- Manage and support the agile transformation and guide the organisation and teams through the agile journey and maturity growth by
- Building and supporting teams to increase their maturity, e.g. against SAFe’s 7 Key Scaled Agile competencies
- Defining standards and creating playbooks for agile ceremonies, e.g. PI-Planning, daily stand-ups, Portfolio Sync etc- Provide training and coaching on agile ways of working and adoption e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to all relevant stakeholders and teams and advise on set-up of value streams for delivery
- Train all levels of the organisation on agile principles, practices, roles, artefacts and ceremonies to maintain consistency of adoption and continuously improve performance
- Manage and facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices throughout the organisation and capture it in a useable, easily accessible format for all- Manage and lead the usage of agile adoption measurements to evaluate and report the performance and adherence of the organisation on a regular basis
- Data-driven assessment of agile maturity
- Data-driven assessment of delivery performance
- Work with and guide delivery functions on an on-going basis
- Teach and promote Catalyst Leadership within ARTs while shaping our current Practice Program Curriculum

**Job Responsibility**:
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Evangelise the Digital C&P agile transformation and guide the organisation and teams through the agile journey and maturity growth
- Define and refine the organisation’s agile principles, practices, standards. Lead SAFe events e.g. Planning, pre and post PI/SI planning & PI training/coaching
- Mentor, coach and train all levels of the organisation on agile principles, practices, roles, artefacts and ceremonies to maintain consistency of adoption and continuously improve performance as well as teach our in-house Agile Leadership Awareness program
- Use agile adoption measurements to evaluate and report the performance and adherence of the organisation on a regular basis
- Facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices throughout the organisation and capture this in a useable, easily accessible format for all

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Proven experience as Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master within large delivery organisations, with demonstrable experience leading and adapting teams on agile methodologies
- Preferably certified Agile Coach like SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or similar - comfortable with servant leadership style; Preferable certified in Certified Agile Leadership (CAL1) or equivalent
- Leader with the ability to develop and communicate the objectives, inspire, coach, and motivate the team
- Expertise in current & evolving Agile methodologies and tools
- Ability to continue to monitor, learn, and implement best practices via the agile community

**Preferred technical / professional qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience of working in agile frameworks, eg SAFe Agilist/SPC, Scrum, Kanban, Agile PM, LESS etc
- Expert user of Microsoft tools: Excel/PowerPoint/Word
- Experience of agile tools: Jira and confluence desirable
