Finance Assistant

Hopscotch are looking for a skilled Finance Assistant to join our wonderful team at Head Office. The job holder will assist and support the Finance Manager with a range of accounting duties including purchase ledger, sales invoicing and funding.

**Responsibilities**:
Checking of purchase invoices and inputting onto Sage and SharePoint.
Processing of supplier payments and sending out remittances.
Ensuring aged creditors on Sage are correct and investigating any supplier account issues.
Collating credit card receipts and reconciling these against credit card statements.
Collating and reconciling petty cash.
Assisting with bank reconciliations.
Monitoring SEN/EYPP and any other grant/funding spend, liaising with nursery managers as required.
Calculating and raising sales invoices to parents/carers from Parenta and/or Family.
Entering parent receipts onto Parenta and/or Famly.
Entering direct debit collections on Finastra.
Checking details on new starter forms against data on Parenta and adding fee information.
Preparing and submitting termly funding claims and mid term adjustments on the council portal and/or Funding Loop.
Exporting monthly sales data from Parenta to Sage.
Assisting with resolution of fee queries from parents as required.

The role is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 per day.
