Administrative Assistant / Receptionist with Sutton Uplift

**About the team**:
Sutton Uplift is part of South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.
We provide free confidential support for people with mental health problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, and some more serious mental health presentations. The service offers talking therapies for people over the age of 18. A person can refer themselves or be referred by a healthcare professional such as a GP.
The treatment that are offered for most presentations are shown to be effective and recommended by the National Institute and Care Excellence (NICE).
**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the administrative team at Sutton Uplift. We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaging individual with good customer service skills to be front face of the service.
The post-holder will be a key member of the team and will be responsible to providing important administrative and secretarial service to the members of the service which includes, using computerised information systems, word processing, containing filing systems and being the first port of call for patients, relatives/carers and other professionals.
The post-holder will be part of an administration team that exist to provide an essential service to our clients and the smooth operation of the team itself.
**About the location**:
Sutton Uplift is based at Jubilee health Centre - East, 6 Stanley Park Road, Wallington SM6 0EX
The reception is accessed through the main entrance of Jubilee Health Centre building. Sutton Uplift is on the 1stfloor.
Our Trust headquarters is located within the impressive grounds of Springfield University Hospital in Tooting and we also operate in nearly 100 other locations throughout the UK. This is easily accessible via the Northern Line (Tooting Bec Station) and via private transport. The Trust provides subsidised parking fares for all our substantive staff. Our main site is located immediately next to Tooting High Street where staff can easily access a range of shops, cafés, restaurants etc.

To be responsible for ensuring the data on the required electronic patient care record or Local Authority systems, if required, is accurate and up to date.
The post holder will review the Trust dashboard for team members. To address and alert teams to errors and problems as they arise.
To ensure that all service users patients and visitors are received in a courteous and efficient manner.
To facilitate effective communication within the team by providing team members with messages and information.
To ensure that all telephone enquiries to the team are handled politely and sympathetically, ensuring that all messages are passed on to the appropriate person in a timely and accurate manner which may often involve dealing with difficult and distressed patients on the phone or in person.
To send out GP correspondence using DOCMAN system
To liaise with the Administration Team Manager on matters relating to building maintenance issues and where appropriate
