**Location: Borough of Sutton - Cantium House, Wallington**
Cognus are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative member of staff to support the School Admissions Team.
As part of the wider Cognus team, they will be asked to assist with various administrative tasks depending on business needs, including support to our collation and reporting of performance and business planning data and collating progress reports on annual workplans, as well as attending meetings and recording notes/actions

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**POSITION: School Admissions Assistant**
**DIVISION: School Admissions**
**BUSINESS UNIT: Quality & Customer Care**
**REPORTS TO: School Admissions Coordinator**
**GRADE Band 1B**
**JOB SUMMARY**
- Collate data and prepare/maintain summary reports
- Assist with the maintenance of website information.
- To provide administrative support to senior officers in the Admissions Team.
- The post holder is a role model of the professional behaviours outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Leadership Capability documents.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
e) Provide support to schools with enquiries and use of systems relating to admissions.
f) Provide support to collection of key performance indicator data, and quality assurance activity.
g) To support the maintenance of service delivery plans and updates from service leads.
h) To deliver core tasks under the direction of a more senior member of staff to ensure services run efficiently and accurately following defined standard operating procedures.
i) To deal with routine issues/problems to ensure customer issues are resolved effectively, escalating to the relevant team manager when necessary.
j) To update and maintain database systems and create/maintain spreadsheets and documents.
k) Complete mandatory e-learning modules and training as required. l) Understand personal responsibility regarding confidentiality, GDPR and information governance and adhere to and promote the Company policies in all areas, including Safeguarding of Children, Data Protection, ICT, Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity.
m) To ensure attendance and constructive participation in supervisions, appraisals and team meetings in line with the Company’s standards. n) To ensure on-going personal professional development and discuss his/her needs with their line manager.
