The Youth engagement worker is a newly created role. The role will help us to grow our youth voice and engagement work across Northamptonshire facilitating our Youth committee and planning and delivering events for young people across Northamptonshire. Responsible for recruiting and engaging eligable children and young people whilst reducing barriers to engagement. Planning and facilitating the Youth Committee and events including our allotment,providing opportunities for young people to be involved and engaged in the development of Family Support Links Services and to ensure they have their voices heard. Attending partnership meetings as required and working to develop strong partnership links and identify new partnerships that will benefit both our clients and the charity. The Youth engagement Worker is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of case notes and undertaking regular assessments with clients and families. Evaluation activites or initiatives to demonstrate the difference these events make. You will prioritise safeguarding by following our policy and procedures.

The youth engagement worker role is a newly created role that will be for an initial fixed term of 1 year.

You must have a full driving licence and access to a car for this role

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10,508.16 per year
