A position has become available for a teacher of Science at a school based in the Wellingborough region of Northamptonshire on a full time temporary basis. The school is an Ofsted ‘Good’ school that services an excellent surrounding catchment area. It iseasily accessible via bus (5-minute walk from nearest bus stop) from the city centre s - should you have access to a vehicle as well this would be an added bonus.

The school have excellent facilities including a state-of-the-art science lab, and a very supportive staff network that communicate regularly with one another to make sure everyone is supported and organized throughout the day. The role would involve teachinggeneral science (a mix of Chemistry, Biology and Physics) to KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) students. This includes planning and delivering high quality lessons, being responsible for pupil assessment and attainment levels, and engaging with school life outside of theclassroom i.e. school trips, fundraisers, parents evenings etc.
- Must have QTS in (at least) one of the three main sciences
- Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Confidence within a classroom setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Pay: £120 - £2000 per day depending on experience
- Full time - Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
- ASAP to April with possibility of being extended/made permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
